A Spiritually Aligned Health Coach + Speaker For Women 

I’m Alannah, or Lana for short. I help you align the body, mind and spirit so that you can fully step into your power, by stepping into your body. Break free of toxic diet culture & reclaim your body so you can get  revitalised health in a nourishing way, aligned to you. Working in harmony with your body, not against it, is at the core of long term health.

I have been coaching since 2016, starting out as a Personal Trainer. In 2017 I ditched PT’ing, after realising I was doing my clients a disservice as exercise is only 20% of weight loss results. I moved to online coaching, specifically in nutrition and weight management through understanding the mindset & psycholgy of long term, sustainable health. The results I began to facilitate for women online were phenomenal as I could offer my clients 24/7 support, help with their food, and most importantly, mindset.

Since 2017 my dedication has been to helping women who have struggled to truly connect with themselfes, and specifically, their bodies. Helping women who have struggled to maintain weight loss and health goals. Women who feel stuck in a self-loathing diet culture cycle, forced so far aprat from their body and deeply confused by all the missinformation out there. I focus on the mindset, psychology, belief patterns and habits around your relationship with your body and food, so you can finally live in harmony with your body and experience joy from food again. Through education and exploration, I show you exactly how to have your cake and eat it!



Weight Loss is Not One Size Fits All!

Over the years to follow I invested continuously (and still do!) in my education and personal development to bring my clients the highest level of knowledge and excel their results. In 2019-2020 I also worked as a specialist coach, teaching other coaches how to get better results for their clients. 

I do not believe in fad diets or cookie cutter weight loss plans, I only teach a sustainable lifestyle change. There is no room for restriction, self hate or quick fixes. Long term sustainable changes will only ever be possible from encompassing the foods you love, harnessing your mindset, and remaining flexible. Trust me when I say you get to enjoy food AND have the body you desire, I know because I lost nearly 3 stone myself and kept it off using exactly what I teach. 

I am here to ignite the confidence in you to take your power back. I’m not here to empower you, I will show you how to empower yourself. I will help you find the confidence, knowledge and clarity you need to make this a sustainable lifestyle change (one that fits in with work and a family life of course!). 

I am deeply passionate about what I do. My soul mission and passion has always been to coach. What lights me up inside is learning something new, embodying it myself, then gifting that knowledge to other women. There is nothing more incredible than a woman standing in her full power of deep mind, body, soul alignment. 

My Curvy and Courageous 1-2-1 programme is highly regarded, and UK renowned as one of the best, life changing health programmes out there. To date, I have spoken to over 2,000 women, and personally coached over 600 women.

Have I Ever Struggled With Weight Loss?

In May 2017 my mum passed away very unexpectedly. Shortly after I became terribly ill and at age 22, I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  As a result I put on nearly 3 stone from grief, over eating, and physically not being able to get out of bed. My body, mind and spirit were at an all time low. Battling dreadfully with depression and anxiety, which I had suffered with since age 12,  functioning on a day to day basis with CFS was very difficult.

 

I was so deeply unhappy with my body, and really, had been my entire life. I felt like a complete fraud.

 

This was a huge lightbulb moment for me. I suddenly realised that the only way I was ever going to be happy with my body was if I tackled my mindset. Looking deep into the psychology, routines, behaviour habits, beliefs, relationship with food and view of myself. I have to date explored 6 different types of therapy, and invested thousands in my mental health, physical well-being and personal development, helping to shape me into the coach I am today.

 

Being at rock bottom, business barely getting by, and knowing I needed to do something, I invested the last bit of money I had in a holistic clinic in London who specialise in Nutritional Medicine and Naturopathy. They quite literally brought my body back to life. At one point I was spending £550pcm on supplements/tablets/tinctures etc, which was worth every penny to have my body and life back. To be able to function again, was priceless. Health is priceless.

 

I lost the nearly 3 stone within 5 months of applying the same program principles I use for my clients today.  I still use supplements regularly, and am now a registered practitioner for Cytoplan, doing supplement consultations as well as being to offer my clients generous discounts.

 

Having been on a huge health journey myself, the first hand experience helped expertly craft the Curvy & Courageous Programme into the outstanding programme it is today.

What Do I Do In My Free Time?

I spend a lot of time either on, or facilitating retreats. I enjoy meditating, journalling, horse riding,  pilates, and walking in nature. I love going out for food, snuggling with my cats, hanging out with friends, and having the type of deep chats that fill your soul! I’m a little obsessed with personal development (and spirituality!), so I can usually be found doing something that progresses me personally and enhances my relationships/life.
