I came across Coaching by Alannah completely by accident. My sister showed me about a tiktok she’d watched about a health coach that had content specifically for women that had gotten stick from some men in the industry over her content, we couldn’t believe the abuse.

I sought out the profile and started watching the content. It really resonated with me and I thought this woman gets where I’m at!

I reached out to Alannah and first did the introductory call, after that hour session I knew she was going to help me sort my my s@#t out.

I then signed up to do her 1-2-1 coaching programme for 3 months, staying on for a further 3 months.

I’d basically been on a diet since being a teenager, and now at 42 had resigned myself to the fact that cosmetic surgery was the only way forward.

Alannah inspired me to give, doing it the proper way, one last shot, as I wanted whatever I invested in to be a change for life.

Fast forward that 6 months and the transformation (YES! It’s that life changing!) is unimaginable!

I have lost some weight, I have changed in size and shape but the real change is not what you would think.

The weightloss isn’t the thing, it’s you that becomes changed, like a butterfly coming out into the world, weight isn’t a thing! You look in the mirror and smile, you think yeah I look dam good, your mind is expanded and has the time to explore other interests or other ways to grow as a person, because you are no longer focused on “dieting”. You have time for you!

I now have to tools to live a full, healthy and happy life.

I only graduated a few weeks ago and I miss her already! As soon as I’m back from hols, I’m getting back on board with the new monthly programme to discover other avenues of self discovery 😊

Where do I start… before I had my first call with Lana I was heading down a slippery slope, I’d become lazy with my cooking and was easily swayed towards a takeaway and convenience food! Exercise was never my issue as I’ve always enjoyed it! Now I am eating healthy and tasty food, I’m never hungry and know what works for me! The 3pm slump has gone and my energy levels are great!

Don’t get me wrong I’ve had the odd bad day or night out with friends and had a few drinks/eaten the wrong thing, but the next day, I’ve been back to my new lifestyle and not let it effect me the next day or written off the week! I actually want to get back to my healthy habits as I like the way it makes me feel.

I can’t really put into words how much my life has changed! I have to double take when I see a picture of myself now as I don’t recognise myself!

Just to prove it works here are the stats…. I’ve lost 2 stone and 6 inches from my waist! Which has all been down to the food I’ve put into my body, which is more than most of you might expect!

Lana is for you if you want to eat properly and not go down the fad diet route! Lana will change your life forever and you’ll never look back, she truly is amazingly talented and will support you all the way, through good days and bad! Lana is the best investment in myself I’ve ever made!

I have worked with Lana for 12 weeks and it’s been an incredible journey.
I have been fed calories in vs calories out for years and while that is incredibly important there is so much more to it.
The mindset to be in a calorie deficit can be tough, especially after years of fad diets and a history of eating disorders.
My natural reaction to eating what I deemed a ‘bad food’ would be to total restrict myself in order to reduce my calories because it’s all about calories in and calories out.
However, this then resulted in me binging and purging, because I was being too restrictive. Or something would trigger me and I’d eat food or something would make me happy and I’d reward myself with food.

It’s this that Lana unpicked for me, all the while having me in a deficit but it wasn’t rammed down my throat. It was taught in a subtle way.
I see so many coaches just say you’ve got to be in deficit and that’s all there is to it and on the face of it that’s true but how can you expect that for someone who has an eating disorder or disordered eating that it will just click?
That’s what Lana means when she says it’s not just about that and why I get so annoyed when people troll her on social media saying she doesn’t understand (usually men trying to mansplain the female mind)

That is where Lana made the difference, her 1:21 sessions and her group sessions really delved into mindset and it was through that that I was able to start changing my habits.
It wasn’t overnight, because it can’t be but it’s been the most eye opening journey for me.
I am still on that journey and I cannot thank Lana enough for her commitment to me, not only in the calls but being available when I struggled and helping to love myself.

Since being with Lana I have achieve the following;
Loving myself
Stopped binging and purging
Learned to stay in a calorie deficit
Stopped punishing myself if I increased my calories
Live with food freedom, no food is off the menu anymore.
Created habits including increased steps, running twice a week, lifting weights more, yoga, meditation, stopping letting work rule my life outside of work and overall managing my stress more.
Oh and a casual drop of 22 inches…

If you struggle with any of the above, then I cannot recommend Lana enough. I promise you won’t regret it.

I initially found Lana on TikTok and what a find! Lana is honest and clear on the true facts about both the science and psychological aspects woman face with their nutrition and weight loss, demonstrating it’s not just about the body, It’s about the mind too.

I originally had a free 15 minute meeting online followed by reasonably priced 1 hour meeting to go through all the main challenges I faced.
